Led by John Busing, a former professional athlete and coach with over 20 years of experience, this program combines world-class expertise with a supportive, feedback-driven learning environment. Every session is designed to be practical, hands-on, and rooted in real-world coaching, so you don’t just understand the concepts, you can confidently apply them.

Our goal is for you to leave this training with more than just a certificate. You’ll graduate with a clear coaching voice, a proven system for success, and the confidence to inspire clients, manage groups, and build community.

John Busing, Owner & Head Strength Coach, MOVE+breathe
John Busing is the Owner and Head Strength Coach at MOVE+breathe, a performance and wellness facility based in Cumming, Georgia. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of strength and conditioning, working with a diverse clientele ranging from youth and collegiate athletes to professional athletes and general fitness populations. His expertise lies in the integration of mindful movement, corrective exercise, and strength training to enhance performance, prevent injury, and improve overall quality of life.
John’s athletic background includes playing collegiate football at Miami University (Ohio) and competing professionally in the National Football League with the Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, and New York Giants. His time as a professional athlete instilled a deep appreciation for the science and discipline of training, which has shaped his evidence-based and holistic approach to coaching.

John’s professional credentials include:

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
  • Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach (Pn1)
  • Healthy Steps Nutrition Certified Coach

Our 2026 training consists of 3 weekends of sessions. These sessions are a mix of lecture, hands on coaching so you can feel knowledgeable and confident. Sessions take place on Friday evenings 4-8pm and Saturdays 11am-5pm

What prior experience do I need?

  • Weekend One: January 16-17
  • Weekend Two: February 6 -7
  • Weekend Three: March 6-7
