The Owners
John & Lauren
Just as John and Lauren compliment each other as husband and wife, their work comes alive as complements at MOVE+breathe.
They first met while collaborating together in their work with athletes. Lauren provided support to athletes in their recovery, sharing her expertise in yoga, breath work, and rolling methods to help improve athletic performance. At the same time, John was empowering athletes to move better by improving their speed, strength, and power.
Immediately they knew that in order to achieve the best results, it was necessary to combine their passions together, intersecting grace with grit. This was the genesis for MOVE+breathe, and together, their mission is to share their passion for moving better, breathing better, and performing better with you.
John Busing is the real deal. He’s very technical in his work. He’s going to get the best out of you. If you like to work then he’s your guy.
From a collegiate to professional athlete, to then just wanting to stay healthy and fit, John has been there every step of the way. He has a unique ability to match programming to your wants and needs. I’ve interacted with many coaches/trainers over the years and can confidently say John is the best in the game!
John is one of the best trainers I’ve had over my career. His passion and knowledge of what it takes to succeed at the highest level translates to his training program. John helped me perform on the biggest stage and helped prepare me for my career.
My son and daughter play club travel sports (Soccer and Volleyball) and have been training with John for over a year now. We are very pleased with the progress and improvement they have made in their games in particular their speed, explosiveness and agility. I am very impressed how John adapts his training to maximize what my kids need from their individual sports and also how John is insistence of training in a proper way to avoid potential injuries.
The efforts and time we invested with John in running training are well worth it and we cannot be more pleased!! We usually try to train once or twice a week with the kids and wish we could do this everyday if we had more time. I also definitely recommend to start this training early age so kids can get the right technique as they grow.
