My path to yoga was unexpected, and it became one of the most grounding forces in my life. While yoga came later, my foundation was shaped by nearly twenty years of traditional Chinese martial arts. That discipline informs everything I teach, from strength training to yoga to how I guide others.
My approach is calm, steady, and intentional. I value compassion without softness that avoids effort, and discipline without force. In my classes, challenge becomes a tool for clarity, and movement becomes a way to remember the self. I focus on alignment where breath and body work together to soften resistance and build real, functional strength from the inside out.
