Q: What happens if you qualify?

If TrueMed determines that fitness can help prevent or reverse a health condition (making it eligible for HSA/FSA), they will send you a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). Once you are approved, just submit your future receipts and LMN to your HSA/FSA provider for reimbursement . TrueMed guarantees reimbursement once qualified. TrueMed will send instructions to get reimbursed and their customer support team will be available to assist.

Q: Why use TrueMed if I can just go to my doctor and get a letter of medical necessity?

On almost all insurance plans, the copay for a doctor's visit is usually $30 or more. TrueMed takes just a few minutes to apply and get started In many cases, doctors won’t prescribe exercise You might spend more time and money making a doctor’s visit to try and get your letter of medical necessity and even then, they may not be willing to provide it TrueMed provides customer support on the reimbursement process and a guarantee it will go through If you have a doctor that will write a letter of medical necessity for exercise so you can get reimbursed by your HSA/FSA then you don’t need to use TrueMed. We recommend you contact your HSA/FSA to ask questions about their specific process.

Q: Additional information and resources

You do not need to change how you pay for your membership at MOVE+breathe. TrueMed enables you to reimburse your payments with HSA/FSA funds. You simply need to do it once per calendar year. Just keep paying for your membership as you always have with your current card on file and submit to be reimbursed by your HSA/FSA. Q: I have special conditions. What do I need to tell my instructor?

Be sure to inform your instructor if you have any special health concerns or medical conditions. We are happy to provide modifications to almost all postures and exercises. Always advise if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are post partum.

Q: Does MOVE+breathe provide child care?

We do not provide child care for classes. For liability reasons, children are not allowed to wait in the lobby while participants are in class.

Q: Can I leave early from yoga classes?

Leaving early is disruptive to students. Please plan to stay for the whole class. Instructors will honor your schedule by making an effort to always end on time.

Q: How early should I arrive before the scheduled class starts?

If this is your first time at MOVE+breathe, we encourage you to arrive 10 minutes early to meet the instructor and tour our facility. In general, please arrive a few minutes early to class so you can get set up.

Q: I don't have a yoga mat. Can I borrow one?

Absolutely! We have many different yoga mats for students to borrow or "try out" during class free of charge. Yoga mats are available for purchase at our studio.

Q: I'm new to yoga; what is the studio's etiquette?

One of the benefits of practicing yoga is an increase in awareness. As we practice, we are especially in tune with our sense of smell, we are more aware of odors, fragrances, and smoke. Please consider practicing in clean clothing that is void of the smell of fried foods, perfumes, colognes, and smoke. Wear comfortable stretchy clothing. Layers are good as you warm the body and cool it down. Shoes are removed in the reception area outside the yoga studio and placed in the cubbies. Socks may be worn in the studio; however, it is recommended to practice in bare feet. Please silence your phone and leave your phone and personal belongings in a cubby in the reception area. Q: Can I bring water? Should I eat before I come?

Yes you can bring water. We suggest that you come to classes 1-2 hours after eating.
