I want to introduce you to someone really special in our community. Meet Melissa.
A few years ago, Melissa was deep in the powerlifting world. She was spending hours and hours in the gym, training hard, competing, and giving it everything she had. She was strong, disciplined, and committed. But like so many people, something still felt off.
Fast forward to three years ago, when Melissa walked into MOVE+breathe and jumped in as an Ultimate member; she didn’t quit lifting. She didn’t stop working hard. She added balance.
She added yoga to her routine for the very first time. She added monthly, habit-based nutrition coaching and accountability. And most importantly, she stayed consistent, week after week and month after month. Here’s the wild part.
Today, Melissa is stronger than she was back then.
-
She’s lifting more.
-
She feels better in her body.
-
She’s more grounded, more confident, and healthier overall.
-
Not because she did anything extreme.
-
Not because she chased quick results.
-
But because she showed up for herself again and again.
Melissa is such a powerful reminder that progress doesn’t always come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from doing things differently. From building a balanced movement “diet.” Supporting your body with good fuel, recovery, and consistency over time.
This is what real, sustainable change looks like, and we are so proud of her.
If you’ve ever wondered whether consistency really matters, or if adding something like yoga or nutrition coaching could actually make a difference, Melissa’s story says it all.
Strong looks different when it’s supported, balanced, and sustainable 💛
